3 miles in the morning with the team.

Ran with the team over to do a workout on the region course. We did 4 x 4:00min. pick ups with 2:00 min. recovery. The grass was a little longer than I thought it was going to be. The team pushed really well today and it was good to see this since we didn't race very well on Friday. Hopped in to push the girls on their last couple. 8 miles total.

Side note: upchucked my chow mein from lunch! Not pretty! I think I may have scared the kids a little.

3 miles in the morning over to The Spectrum. I wasn't feeling that great so I did not meet up with Dave and the other guys for the workout.

Easy 5.30 miles with some of the boys around Webb Hill. Fairly warm out this afternoon. I did 2 more miles on the treadmill while the team lifted. I was not happy for some reason so I increased the speed on the treadmill until it was 5:00/mile for the last 3/4 of the 2nd mile. It was one of those days I guess.

7 miles in the morning. I did a 2 mile warm up and then 6x400m with 400m recovery and then 6x200m with 200m recovery with one of the Varsity boys who cannot come to practice this afternoon. We hit 1:16-1:20 for the 400s and :34 - :36 for the 200s. Good solid workout. I cooled down a little bit after wards.

6 miles in the afternoon. I did most of the same workout this morning but helped push some of the girls. It was a little warm but everyone ran very well today. This made me happy.

11 miles this morning in SLC. I ran from the hotel up to 900 E. and took it South for a little bit. I went out 5.5 and then came back. I kept the pace honest and hit 6:32/mile. Good way to start a Saturday.

I then did a little warm up and then part of the workout with the boys on the state course. 5 miles for me here.

I am excited for the marathon next week. It will be fun pacing Steve and whoever else wants to hit 2:36. Anyone who wants to join in the fun is more than welcome to come.
