8 miles after all the kids went home today from school. Kind of busy at work but I needed to get out. I went towards the Arizona Strip. A guy on the street said to me, "Kind of hot to be running, don't you think?" My reply, "It is only 100 something degrees. Perfect running conditions." I have lost my mind. Nice and steady and happy to get a decent run in.

Going to only hit about 70 something miles this week in preparation for Squaw Peak next week. I hope the baby comes early or late so I do not miss this race.

8 miles this morning before heading in to work. Warm weather is back for morning runs. Yuck! Nice and steady out through Ivins towards Unity Park.

6 more miles this evening around Ivins again. Nothing fancy but extra hot today. 100+ degree weather is not that fun to run in.

Ran with the Circle on Clyde's secret route. Nice and toasty this morning. We all decided that we need an ice bath. This weather is so lovely!

Nice run this morning out along Snow Canyon Parkway. I realized once again why I love this route. The mountains and houses block the sun. It was nice and shaded for the entire run. I took an ice bath last night so I felt pretty good.

I spent all afternoon playing with Norah and planned on running with my dad while he rode the mountain bike. He said it was too hot. I ended up going and running Barrel Roll. It was a lot of fun. I saw a ton of rabbits and enjoyed a great trail run.

Did my hilly Kayenta run this morning. The temps were cooler but the wind was howling the entire run. Lots of headwind today and especially up the canyon. Just tried to stay relaxed and enjoy the run as much as possible. I really dislike running in the wind though.

Fun run with Dave this morning. We started at his house and looped out into Washington Fields and then back up River Rd. and over Foremaster. Lots of hills so a decent workout overall. The wind was blowing a little and temps were cooler so it turned out to be a really nice run. Dave and I discussed the plan for next week at Squaw Peak. I am pretty excited to see what we can do.

The exciting news for the weekend is we are going to probably have our little boy on Tuesday. Yes, we are planning the arrival of our new one around Squaw Peak! I am excited to see the little guy.
