Another big boy run this morning with the Circle and Steve. Started at the DC and then warmed up to Bloomington around to Clyde's house. I learned while running the 11 miles I was in the presence of two published authors (Sir Clyde Behunin and Tier 1 David Holt). Motivates me to be a better writer myself. I have work to do.

Once we got to Clyde's house we all needed to shed clothing because it warmed up quite a bit. Took a Gu and got to 11 miles before starting the tough 10 mile section. My watch was freaking out so the guys had a 15 second lead on me. I wanted to run with them but knew 5:00/mile for the first mile wasn't working so I toned it down. Eventually caught up after a bit. We had to be creative and take it along the road rather than the trail due to construction. The road in front of Maverik dragged a bit but it went all right. I just wanted to feel controlled all run and be somewhat comfortable while pushing in the last 2 miles. Every mile was fairly even and then I went 5:33 and 5:27 on the last two miles. 5:36/mile for the 10 mile section. Felt strong throughout the run and another major confidence boost heading into Phoenix. Things are moving in the right direction.

Spent the rest of the day moving my parents into their new house. Very grateful for many of the XC/track boys who came and helped. It is very much appreciated! Another solid week.

Dude that's solid. I only hit a 5:34 avg last week. Your right there.
