| | 3 miles in the morning with the team. Ugh! Monday morning. 6 miles in the blazing heat with some of the boys this afternoon. I hope the weather starts to cool down. I am not quite sure if that will happen anytime soon.

Tempo Tuesday with Dave and Clyde. We did our regular route. 3 mile warm up, 6 miles of tempo, and a 3.5 mile cool down. It was a little warm but I felt pretty good on the tempo section and ended up averaging 5:35/mile. Happy with the effort. Now I get to look forward to running in the heat this afternoon with the team. Yeah!
6.30 miles with repeats on the Bloomington Hills North Park grass. If region is going to be there, I figure we might as well run on it every now and then. I pushed the girls this afternoon and they did very well. Solid day of running.

| | Just one of those days. Extremely worn out and had my first graduate school class this evening. Starting all over again. Nose to the grindstone. | Add Comment |
| | 10 miles in the morning. I ran 7 miles over into Bloomington and then back along the trail before I met up with the team to run an easy 3 miles over towards Little Valley. Solid morning. 7.50 miles in the beastly hot afternoon. We ran over to Little Valley and did 4 x 800m grass repeats. I ran with the boys and it is nice to see how well they are pushing each other. We then "cooled" down back to the high school. This weather is killing the kids. They are troopers for pushing through this.

| | Ran this morning with Clyde. We looped from his house over to the DC and then back through Bloomington Hills. It was only 88 degrees when we started at 5:00am. Nice and cool. Happy to be done for the day. |

| | 15 miles this morning with Clyde and Dave. We went from Clyde's house over to Bloomington and back. Nice run this morning and averaged right around 7:00/mile. Had to go early due to the cross country meet. Nice little recovery week. Just getting in okay miles right now. |
