Sub 1:10 half by the summer.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Enjoy running and fight off heart disease or diabetes that has been passed on for many generations. Try and break the cycle.

Personal:

I am currently 39 years old. I have a 11 year old girl, Norah, a 9 year old boy, Oliver, and a 6 year old girl, Myla, who are wonderful. I am a SPED Teacher at Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah. I also coach the cross country and track teams at Desert Hills High.

8.5 miles this evening out into Washington Fields. Just clearing my mind. 7:22/mile overall.

Just over 6 miles this morning with the boys looping around Little Valley. Cloud cover helped with cooler temps but it was a little muggy.

3 miles after weights with the TEAM towards Hidden Valley and then 3 more miles to the Spectrum. Cloud cover and a touch of rain. Not much but it still was nice.

8 miles with Trevor looping around Crimson Cliffs High this morning before practice. Added 1 more mile while timing the TEAM on their workout.

Added another 5 more miles right after through Little Valley.

Heading to Beaver for a few days.

14 miles total this morning. Ran two miles with Abby and then added on another 12 miles running around Beaver. The temps are perfect up here. 7:25/mile.

13.5 miles total this morning in Beaver. Ran almost 3 miles with Abby and then did 10 more miles up towards the Canyon in Beaver. Threw in some Fartleks for the last couple miles. Temps were perfect again. It is fun running at 6000 feet with cooler weather. So much fun.

We then went up and flagged Delano Peak for next week. Lots of fun but it was tiring. Solid way to end the week.
