Drove home late last night from up north so I could spend my day off finishing my 20 page disposition paper for graduate school. Yeah! I finally got out for my run around 5pm. I did my run along Snow Canyon Parkway and then came back towards my parent's house. I ended up doing 11 miles at 6:25/mile. Decent way to start the week with an up tempo run.

6 miles in the morning around the high school.

8 miles total this afternoon. I ran with some of the boys did when they did mile repeats on the track. I hit 5:22, 5:24, 5:22, and 5:23. Decent splits and the legs felt pretty good. It feels good to get the legs moving again.

Finally got the entire Circle of Trust back together. It seems like it has been months since we have run together. Very interesting conversation this morning due to Clyde being alive and kicking.

Ran this morning around the high school. Nothing fancy but just getting it in. Added a little this afternoon running around the track meet in Hurricane. Track meets a way too long.

Fairly tired this morning. Ended up running around the track and adding on a little bit more after wards. Did another paper for graduate school. I think I finished my last one! Body has been tired the last couple days.

Steve called me last night and asked if I wanted to run a 10k this morning. My allergies have been terrible for the last two weeks and I have been really tired but I thought it might be good to get the legs moving a little on a tough course. I did an 8 mile warm up jogging the entire course. I could tell very quick that it is very honest with a fair amount of uphill.

I ran with Steve for a little warm up. The horn went off and it was just Steve and me who took off. I could tell early on I was not feeling great. I had a tough time breathing due to my allergies. I didn't worry about my pace but rather running relaxed and controlled. I just wanted to hit some decent miles today. At mile 3, I literally shut it down as we climbed back up Telegraph. My entire body felt flat (especially the legs). I just stayed relaxed and ended up finishing in front of Steve. He ran great today.

The course was barely short and I was happy to hit 5:33/mile. Nothing spectacular but not bad while I felt sick. I cooled down with Steve to get 22+ miles for the day.

Glad the week is over. Way too busy and tired. Next week should be better. I slept a lot today so I hope my allergies and sickness get better.
