Nice long run this morning with Dave out on Utah Hill. We did two loops and extended just a little on each one to get over 30 for the day. The first loop we seemed to be huffing like we were chain smokers but the second loop seemed to be better. I think it was due to the cold air (also, I chucked a couple times on the first loop and that seemed to help). With all the potty stops and everything we were at 3:51 for the run which included 3,200 feet of climbing. Legs were sore after but the ice bath helped a ton.

Solid run with good conversation (Dave said on the second loop, "We need to see a ram so we can be motivated to climb these hills." I couldn't stop laughing. We saw nothing but cows!)

Man one of these days I'm going to click on your name and see "Long run, 45 miles w/ Dave" :-)

You guys are getting after it! Keep it up!

"see a ram"? that's as good as "it's fun for me". You guys are on a roll and I'm not talking about running.

I am sure The cows were very excited to see you both! and the rams were hiding in fear. lol

Jake,

Look for it in about two weeks. Dave and I have a 50 mile run planned for the first day of our spring break. Should be fun!

Nice run out there! Let me know if you guys need some extra company for the 50 miler... That is if you are planning on keeping it semi local.

Clyde told me that your Utah mtn loop is pretty sweet. I'll have to check it out one of these days.

Way to get it done!
