15 miles along the River Trail before we left for the frozen tundra (Logan). No watch. Just enjoyed the perfect temps and sunny weather.

Waited until the early afternoon before it warmed up in Logan and went out in the 15 degree weather. Actually wasn't too bad once I got going. Didn't look at the watch but just enjoyed skidding all over the road. Went up to see the new high school (Green Canyon) and then came back by the university. Lots of memories. 7:11/mile for 12.20 miles. Surprised with how well I felt. Beard was frozen though.

1 more mile around the indoor track at the Logan Rec. Center while Katey ran. Did most of it with Oliver. He is actually a pretty quick little runner.

16 total miles this morning. Much warmer today. It snowed last night so it was nice this morning. 27 degrees when I started today. Ran from the in-law's house and went over to Providence and ran 5 miles with Lily who was in town with her family. Ran back through the university remembering the good old days. Roads were a little slippery this morning but it was another memorable run.

I heard it was 55 degrees and sunny yesterday in St. George. Sure glad I live there.

Ran 13 cold miles again in Logan. 7:10/mile. Ran up towards the new Green Canyon High School. Crazy to see so much growth in Cache Valley. Looking forward to warm weather again in St. George.

Did another loop out towards Green Canyon High School and finished up running around the Utah State campus. Always fun doing that. Loads of memories from going to school up here. 13 miles total. Hoped to get a few more in but lots of family stuff.

Happy to end 2016 on a very positive note. Got my base mileage back to where I would like it to be with a few workouts. Excited for 2017. Hoping to race a little more. Happy New Year everyone!
