Ran the warm up and cool down with the boys before they did Meat Grinders on Webb Hill. The team looked good today and was pleased with the first hill repeat workout of the season. Trying to get caught up on rest due to these allergies or whatever keeps me from having a stuffy nose.

Met up with the Circle and did our tempo loop from Clyde's. Plan was to do 5 miles but I knew I would probably struggle since I still had the stuffy nose. Hit 5:28, 5:26, 5:40, and then 5:34 for the .5 mile for 3.5 miles. Nothing spectacular but I had to stop because I was hacking up stuff. Yeah! I love feeling like this. Cooled down with the guys. Just need to keep grinding it out and get better.

6 miles on the trails with the girls today. I felt flat still and I was in survival mode from the get go.

3 miles before practice to Hidden Valley and back.

Went out towards Warner Valley and ran a 15 tempo run with the boys. Thought I would get the legs moving and see if the stuffy nose got any better. We averaged 5:53 for just over 2.5 miles. Very pleased with how they did. I felt okay but happy to get it in. 7 miles total. Plyombata after wards.

3 miles before practice to Hidden Valley and back.

Ran 8.5 miles with the girls out on the Jem Trail. The weather was absolutely perfect due to cloud cover and a slight breeze. The girls ran well today. Kept it relaxed and had a great conversation about lots of stuff. Hope to get more in this afternoon.

3 more miles pushing Oliver and Norah in the jogging stroller to the park while Katey ran alongside us.

Ran 4 miles before practice and then met up with the team at Bloomington Hills North Park to see them do the Fartlek workout. Team did well. I hollered out times for them. Barefoot cool down on the grass.

Did the Clyde Marathon this morning starting at the DC. Did the usual loop as last week but just extended it. Plan was to go under 2:45 and not be jacked up after wards. Started out with Clyde and Dave. Kept the pace honest and really got going once we stopped at Clyde's and got a GU and some water. Picked it up after Sullivan Park which was around 18 miles. Knew we needed to push it to get under 2:45 around mile 20. Started to get going and then felt a little tired around 23 and then progressively got more tired. I started to feel it in my legs and had to work the last couple miles. I went down the trail and then flipped it back to the DC. I stopped at the overpass and collapsed on the ground. I was very sweaty and just laid on the ground. A couple l6adies ran by and asked if I needed some help. I guess I looked like I was in bad shape. I got up and it looked like I was melting. Got some fluids in me and felt a lot better. I forgot to stop my watch but Clyde came in just a bit after me. I think I hit 2:43 and change for 6:16/mile.

Solid way to end the week. Very happy with this run. Pretty tired now. Ended up going to Eagle Point and checked out some trails for our XC camp. Good thing I was on a 4 wheeler.
