I got to sleep in a little since the track meet got moved for a little later in the day.  I woke up at 6:00 and had my 2 1/2 hour run to look forward.  I decided to try and different route instead of the North Ogden rolling hills one.  I went out to Fremont High school and back.  Paul told me to keep the pace steady so I was thinking low 6:00 miles.  It was a cold 25 degrees that early but I warmed up pretty quick once the sun came up.  I got out to Fremont and was feeling good.  I decided to push it a little bit more for the trip back to the house.  At about mile 18 or 19 my body started to get a little tired but I surprisingly kept pushing and consistently hit low 6:00's.  I finished the 24 miles in 2:27:44.  I averaged 6:09/mile overall for the entire run.  This run was almost as good as the 24 miler I did a couple of weeks ago.  I know these 2 1/2 hour long runs are really getting my body primed and ready for Ogden.

Maybe you should have run the Utah Valley Marathon yesterday, and gotten some prize money for your training run!
