Fast Running Bloggers,

Katey and I have decided to host a pasta party for everyone running the Ogden Marathon. Katey is an angel for letting us do this. It will be on Friday, May 16th from 5:30 – 7:30. Our address is 1075 9th Street in Ogden. It is right across the street from Ben Lomond High School. We have a small, older home which doesn’t hold very many people so we are planning on doing it outside. We have a fenced off yard so kids can run around and you parents won’t have to worry about them much. Please call Katey (435-770-6055) or me (801-391-7859) if you can help bring some food or drinks. Also, call either one of us if you have any questions. Hopefully many of you will be able to come. Keep up the great training.

Thanks,

Logan Fielding

6 miles in the morning.

10 miles in the afternoon.

I had steam coming from the top of my head after this run. It was a nice morning for running though.

I ran 4 miles with the boys track team and then tacked on another 6 by myself.  Kept everything nice and slow.  I averaged 6:46/mile overall.  The body is feeling good with the reduced mileage.

A FRB's Party at the old home site. Who would have thought... I'll let you know if we can make it. I have 3 brothers coming into town to the run the half, so it might be a little crazy....

YOU ARE THE MAN.

Logan- I am doing a 20 mile run tomorrow. Anytime. I was planning on doing it in the Logan canyon/green canyon area to see how much of the trails are run-able, but I am flexible. Let me know.

From Logan on Fri, May 02, 2008 at 14:31:34

I would prefer staying on the roads just because I know the actual time running will be more accurate with me getting back on time for Katey's graduation. I could get lost being up in the mountains!

From Jon on Fri, May 02, 2008 at 15:52:18

That's the point!

Ok, name a time and place and I will be there.

From Logan on Fri, May 02, 2008 at 16:43:53

Let's meet at Paul's house at 6:15. I might need to do the Providence loop so I can remember my Wasatch Back leg. I've had back luck with getting lost in Providence before! I think I am going to do some laps at Logan High School on the grass with him afterwards.

From Paul Petersen on Fri, May 02, 2008 at 17:03:57

What time do you think you'll be back my house to pick me up for the grass running?

From Jon on Fri, May 02, 2008 at 17:23:03

Paul- If Logan and I run his WBR leg (or most of it), we can make it 7-8 miles or so and be back at your house in about an hour. Then run 4-5 miles with you. Does that sound good? Or how many grass miles did you want to do?

From Paul Petersen on Fri, May 02, 2008 at 17:27:18

Yeah anywhere between 4-6 for me will be fine. So I should expect you guys around 7:15AM then?

From Jon on Fri, May 02, 2008 at 18:51:36

Assuming Logan is driving to your house. If he runs to your house from his in-laws, then I'm not sure how far he will want with us. Logan?

Assuming he drives, then we'll meet at 6:15, be back at your house ~7:15 (give or take a few minutes), then run with you.

From Logan on Fri, May 02, 2008 at 20:57:53

I am driving down to your house Paul. I need between 13-15 miles tomorrow. 7:15 AM sounds good Paul for us to meet back up with you.
