Sub 1:10 half by the summer.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Enjoy running and fight off heart disease or diabetes that has been passed on for many generations. Try and break the cycle.

Personal:

I am currently 39 years old. I have a 11 year old girl, Norah, a 9 year old boy, Oliver, and a 6 year old girl, Myla, who are wonderful. I am a SPED Teacher at Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah. I also coach the cross country and track teams at Desert Hills High.

8 miles this morning down along the trail by Confluence Park. Nice out and back. Mentally and physically getting back into it.

5.25 miles this evening with Trevor. 100+ degrees at 8:30pm.

6 miles late this evening with Trevor from my place up along River Road. Still over 100 degrees late in the evening. Let's just say that the kimchi and rice were not sitting well.

6 miles this evening with Steve on the Confluence Park loop. Took a handheld water bottle and that helped a lot with the heat.

4 miles towards Sun River and back from the house. 
10 miles this afternoon in 108 degree weather. Ran the loop by Confluence Park and then extended. Hot but doable with fluids.

Ran the Mayor's Loop with Dave early this morning. Fun chatting with him. Added on 4 miles towards Man o War. I helped do a virtual race and carried a phone for a 5k. Didn't use my right arm the whole time because I was holding the phone and recording. 18:37 for my 5k. Wasn't trying to hammer it but did negative split. Half marathon distance for the end of the week.
