Sub 1:10 half by the summer.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Enjoy running and fight off heart disease or diabetes that has been passed on for many generations. Try and break the cycle.

Personal:

I am currently 39 years old. I have a 11 year old girl, Norah, a 9 year old boy, Oliver, and a 6 year old girl, Myla, who are wonderful. I am a SPED Teacher at Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah. I also coach the cross country and track teams at Desert Hills High.

1 mile before practice and then 7.5 total miles running around timing the Mjolnir. Amazing stuff from the TEAM. Great times this early. Awesome and exciting.

10 miles total this morning. Ran with Ben and Trevor looping around Webb Hill. 6:39/mile. Added 2 more miles before the 15 minute test with the TEAM. Great stuff!

6 miles in the balmy 103 degree temps. Slight breeze made it bearable.

Ran with Dave this morning. We were planning on doing a half marathon training run from Highland Park to Bloomington Park. I started off and felt pretty good but my stomach started acting up. I had to ease off for a couple miles and then muster up the strength to finish strong. Dave had to use the bathroom so I pushed the last 1.5 miles in with him. I need to do this again. I was rolling for the first 5 miles. I can do better.

5:56, 5:33, 5:44, 5:36, 5:43, 5:58, 6:02, 5:57

Added a couple miles at practice while the TEAM did dirt mile repeats. Hit a 6:31 with some of the girls on their last one.

3 miles before meeting up with the TEAM and then added 10 more miles looping around Webb Hill. Awesome start to the day because we then watched the KT Tape St. George Showdown with Adidas and Hoka sponsored athletes on our track. Such a cool experience!
