15.25 miles in the morning

3 miles in the afternoon.

I had a really good turnout for XC this morning.  This made me really happy.  I figured more kids would come out once school got closer.  We did a nice 4.5 mile run.  I then ran from Tonaquint Park to our house in Ivins.  It was a nice and easy run this morning which was much needed.  It felt good to have any easy morning worth of easy miles.

Nice and easy 3 miles around Ivins this afternoon. It was nice and hot.

Logan broke the circle of trust.

What did he do, Clyde?

Congratulations on the house. I hope everything goes well for you there. Your in a perfect location to train all year around.

Clyde, I agree. But I do have one thing to say to you (Clyde) - biking miles?

From Superfly on Wed, Jul 30, 2008 at 15:12:00

Jon- Logan will have to explain why he broke the trust ring.

Dave- My bike miles are legit. When I can go out and ride my butt off for 2+ hours and travel 21+ miles and then only count it as 5 running miles it's fair to me. Plus I saw on Sashas blog that he went 8 miles on a bike and counted it as like 5 miles...

And it's not like my bike miles are the backbone of my mileage. Maybe like 10 miles a week- sometimes.

From dave holt on Wed, Jul 30, 2008 at 18:08:46

Clyde you know I just like to give you a hard time! I really did like Sasha's conversion, though!

Yeah pretty funny. If you want a real laugh go to Mike Kirks blog and read his personal section on the left hand side. I spit my cereal out my nose this morning while reading it.

From wheakory on Wed, Jul 30, 2008 at 21:24:29

Bike miles are tough at times. I did 6 miles at 3am this morning in a 20 mile hour wind and it felt like a 6 mile run so I can see at times where they should count.

From Logan on Wed, Jul 30, 2008 at 21:36:55

Jon,

I broke the circle of trust with Clyde and Dave because I added on a .25 on one of my runs. We talked about keeping the mileage right on for each day.

From Jon on Wed, Jul 30, 2008 at 22:03:26

Logan- the Horror! You broke the circle!
