Sub 1:10 half by the summer.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Enjoy running and fight off heart disease or diabetes that has been passed on for many generations. Try and break the cycle.

Personal:

I am currently 39 years old. I have a 11 year old girl, Norah, a 9 year old boy, Oliver, and a 6 year old girl, Myla, who are wonderful. I am a SPED Teacher at Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah. I also coach the cross country and track teams at Desert Hills High.

7 miles this afternoon running from the house over to my parent's house. Temps were perfect. 7:12/mile. Set up Christmas decorations today.

15 glorious miles with Steve this morning along the DC River Trail. Did 3 miles in the middle of tempo. 5:48/mile. Not very strong today. Must have been the chili I ate last night. 

Saw a ton of deer along the trail which was kind of fun.

14 miles by myself this morning along the River Trail. Saw a bunch of deer again. No watch. Just enjoyed the run. Saw a ton of people out this morning. Almost caught Steve from behind.

1.5 miles this evening while the kids rode bikes. Loads of fun.

14 total miles this morning with Steve. Ran along Dixie Dr. and then finished up with 10x:30 second hill repeats by the house. Steve is an ox right now. Nice to have him around to run with.

10 miles along the DC River Trail this afternoon. 6:44/mile. Saw a huge 3 point buck right along the side of the trail. Crazy stuff!

Slept in a bit today because I can and did a solo 20 mile run over towards the old stomping grounds in Ivins. Felt tired throughout the run but suprisingly the pace was honest. 7:01/mile with one or two quick water stops. Good way to end the week. The weather was perfect. 50 degrees and sunny. 

Got some solid workouts in this week. Time for a long run on the trails next Saturday.
