6.60 miles with the boys this morning. We went from the high school and then ran out into the desert. Lots of fun.

I got out late this evening and did a nice 6 mile run through Ivins. I spooked a lady walking with her horse on the road. She yelled, "Hey, I have a horse buddy." I said, "Sorry, I am running on the road. Don't horses belong in fields?" She was still upset. My bad for running on the road.

8 miles this morning with the team. We went over to Webb Hill and did repeats up to the gate. I ended up doing 5 with the top boys. It was a great workout for everyone. I am really excited about the team this year. It should be a fun year.

Katey had a bunch of things going on so I took Norah in the jogging stroller this afternoon for a 4 mile run around Ivins. It was a little hot but slightly windy so it felt pretty good. I think she enjoyed it.

9 miles in the morning. I looped around Webb Hill with the team and then went over to Hidden Valley Park. Nice morning for a run.

We had family pictures this evening by the Ivins Reservoir. I took my running clothes and ran home from the reservoir through Kayenta. I need to run out here more so I can cool off in the water. Felt good throughout even though it was a little hilly.

6 miles in the morning. Nice and easy over to Hidden Valley and then to the Spectrum. Now we go up to our running camp in Hatch.

6 miles running in Hatch this evening. It was nice running at 7000 feet in 70 degree weather. I loved it. I think the kids enjoyed it as well. Good solid trail running.

I woke up early this morning and went for a nice 6 miler around Hatch on the trails. I had to wear a long sleeve shirt since it was pretty cold. Gorgeous morning. The team then did just over 3 miles via a relay race which included .30 mile laps. It was a lot of fun.

We drove up above Tropic Reservoir and ran back down. We started at 9000 feet which kind of took everyone's breath away. We finished just over 6 miles for the run and then iced the legs in the reservoir. It was quite cold. Solid day of running for the team.

Not enough time to get more miles in this morning since this was the last day of our camp. We went and run in Red Canyon which is close to Bryce Canyon. We started on a trail and then it turned pretty rocky. Coach Goulding said that it appeared to be washed out. I took the varsity boys up the mountain by bushwhacking. Quite the adventure to finish off the camp. I will miss running in the cooler weather and then sitting in the cold river and reservoir. Great camp though that motivated lots of kids.
