7 total miles this morning. Did longer Webb Hill repeats today. Did 6x1:00 min. with the girls. They are looking really strong.

6 more miles later this evening through Ivins. 7:12/mile. Felt good. Did some pickups towards the end which helped give some snap to the legs.

15.25 miles total this morning. Met up early with Steve to get a few miles in. Did another 1.5 with the club. Hopped in to the tempo today from the DC. Felt pretty good once I got started and was doing 5 miles total. Felt relaxed and smooth and then the 5th mile had a giant hill that zapped me a little bit. Finished with a 5:46/mile. The last mile hurt me but I can tell I am feeling stronger. Slowly coming back together. Cooled down after wards. Positive run.

4 more miles at practice with some of the new girls. Lots of positive stuff all throughout the TEAM. Very happy with this. Kids camp was a blast as well.

3 more miles this afternoon with Sage. He is a good cat!

Met up with Ben this morning and drove up to Monte Cristo and ran back down to Hunstville Park. Really nice of him to join me this morning and take a short break from the Ogden Crew. The temps were 49 degrees when we stepped out of the car. I could see my breath. Awesome!

I was going to do a progression run but switched it to do what Ben was doing. It seemed more fun :) Workout was 10 miles at sub 6:20, 3 miles of 1:1, 1 mile recovery at sub 6:20, 2 miles at marathon pace, and then cool down with all miles under 6:20. Felt good from the start even though I could feel the elevation. The cooler temps made a big difference. Hit right around 5:00 or just under for the 1 min. sections and then did 5:30 and 5:39 for the two marathon miles. I want to keep dropping that pace as the summer goes on. Felt good on the cool down. Hit 6:05/mile for the entire run. Super stocked after this one. Very positive step in the right direction.

Great to have Ben there with me. Fun to see him.
