9 total miles this morning. First official day of XC practice went well. 5.5 miles total. Lots of antsy kids today. Had to wrangle some of them to calm down. Shake the rust off week. Ran 4 more miles with Hayden after practice.

4.5 miles this afternoon from the house over to Ivins Reservoir. It is nice with what they fixed up over there to make it a nice swimming area. Met the family and swam for a little bit. It was cold this afternoon. 103 degrees felt cold compared to yesterday :)

Woke up early to run with Steve but it was super rainy, windy, and lots of lightning and thunder. I bagged it and went back to sleep. We had a little yard sale which was a complete waste of time. I can't believe nobody wants to buy any of my crap!

Ended up going out around 10am. It was a little overcast but then the sun came out and it got super humid. Went around Ivins wringing out my shirt for the entire run. I know I was scaring women and children as they drove by. Got it in. 6:48/mile for 12 miles. Ended up actually feeling pretty good. The humidity actually loosed up the muscles a little. It felt good. Planned on going longer but decided to go see a movie with the kiddos.

Another solid week! I think I am ready for some speed.
