4 miles this morning. The leg felt pretty good. I rolled it out for a while and that seemed to help. I wanted to be a little cautious.

6 miles this afternoon with some of the kids. Did a workout on the track with some of the girls. Did a 1 mile warm up, 1x600m, 2x400m, 3x300m, and 4x200m with a 1 mile cool down. I was surprised I felt so good.

Got home and then over to my parent's house in Santa Clara. Felt warm later in the evening. More stretching and rolling the leg out. Hopefully the hip flexor thing was just a little bump in the road.

6 miles this morning. I was planning on going longer but my clutch broke on my truck on the way to school. I ran home and had to deal with the truck as well. Fun stuff!

7 miles in the heat this afternoon. I ran with the boys over to Little Valley. It was nice and toasty today. Glad I was able to survive. Leg keeps feeling better and better each day.

Club run with the guys. Nice and warm with temps about 67 degrees this morning. Ran almost 3 before the regular loop and then extended back around Sunrise Ridge for another couple miles after with Clyde. 7:08/mile. Leg keeps feeling better. Just really tired. I have one last paper to write and then I am done with graduate school for a couple weeks.

Another 4 miles this afternoon. Ran with the B group girls today. We did 8x200m with 200m recovery. Nothing fancy but a solid push for them. The weather was so dang hot.

10 miles in the morning.

I ran from the house and did my Highway 91 out and back run. Nice weather and I felt pretty good this morning.

3 miles this afternoon with the distance kids in Nephi on our way up to the BYU Invite. I hucked the javelin after. I might need to showcase my talent there.

Ran from the hotel in Provo up into Provo Canyon for a while and then came back down. Felt pretty good for the run. The highlight of the run was drinking from a natural spring water fountain. Delicious! Averaged 6:55/mile.

Ran just over 4 miles with the distance kids around Provo. Way too much traffic for me. We all survived though.

Woke up early this morning to get a run in with Dave before the 2nd day of the meet. I ran a little before Dave met me at the hotel. We went up Provo Canyon again and enjoyed the goodness of the natural spring water fountain. Another good run. Nice to run with Dave.

Happy with a solid week before the Zion 50 next week. It should be fun running but the weather is supposed to be hot. Clyde will be our mule and help us along. It should be loads of fun. Yee haw!
