3 miles this morning with the team.

I had meetings all afternoon so I didn't get out until about 5pm. I did my Bloomington Loop run from the high school but shortened it. I picked it up for 2 miles in the middle (5:27, 5:25). Felt good even though it was with a major headwind. Nice little push.

Power Run day with the team. Much improvement for the whole team from the first time we did this. Tried to stay with some of the boys. 5:21 and 5:17 for the 2 fast miles. The team looked really good today.

3 miles in the morning with the team. A little cold today.

7 miles this afternoon with the team during their workout. A little warm up and then we did 8x400m dirt hill repeats behind the high school. It was a solid workout for the team. I started with the girls and then finished with the boys as they did a few more.

Slept in this morning and let Katey go for her morning run. I left the house about 10:00am. It was sunny and perfect running weather. It is days like today why I live in St. George. I knew the roads would be crazy because of soccer and baseball tournaments plus the Parade of Homes. I ran along Santa Clara Dr. and then went over towards Sunbrook. I stopped for a bathroom break and then continued down Dixie Dr. I came back up Valley View, down Bluff, and then back up to Snow Canyon Parkway. I went all the way through Ivins and then came back to the house.

I planned on doing some faster miles but my legs were toast. I picked it up the last 3-4 miles and then finished with a 5:04 mile. I was happy with the run. I did better than I thought. I averaged 6:35/mile overall. Great way to end the week. Looking forward to the half next weekend to see what I can do.
