Met up with Aaron this morning for a run. We met up at the Desert Garden up on the Red Hills Parkway. We went from the Parkway to Dixie Downs, down along Dixie Dr., up around Bloomington, back down along the River Trail to River Road, and then back up to the Desert Garden.

I went to Matilda last night with the kids at Tuacahn so I didn't get home until really late. I was running on about 4 1/2 hours of sleep. Legs were tired from lack of sleep. Kept it honest the first 11 miles with Aaron averaging 6:35/mile for the first 11. We stopped for some water and I told Aaron I need to be smart and ease off the throttle a bit. Finished up with squishy shoes and 18.25 miles total at a 6:51/mile average.

Solid finish to the week. The conference threw a wrench into some running but I am excited to get out of the heat for a week and run up in Huntsville for a week.

Loving life and loving coaching some great kids.
