| | Extremely tired from a long weekend so I ended up sleeping in. Ran late this afternoon while pushing Norah in the jogging stroller. This is quite the workout. I went along Snow Canyon Parkway and just enjoyed the weather. It is fun pushing Norah around and chatting with her. She is almost big enough to run with me. |

| | 3 easy miles in the morning before doing weights with the kids. Nice and chilly. 10 miles this afternoon over towards the Bloomington Loop. I felt a little frisky so I threw in a faster mile. 5:30 for the mile. Nothing spectacular but something to show for. |

Cold morning today. Ran with Dave, Clyde, and Bill on the usual loop. Clyde's coccyx must be feeling better. He looked alright this morning. Happy to get some decent miles in the chilly weather. 5 more miles over to Little Valley this afternoon. |

| | Only did 4 miles this afternoon. I planned on more but I needed to get home for Norah's ballet performance. That was a lot of fun. |

| | Went up with the Circle this morning at Vernon Worthen to do a different route. It was raining quite a bit but still felt good. We started up towards Snow Canyon Parkway and then caught the trail that went through Dixie Downs and followed Dixie Dr. all the way down to Southgate. We headed towards the Bloomington Loop and then came back along the River Trail. We ran up Bluff Street to the park. Lots of puddle jumping and good times. I extended at the end to get 16 for the day. Solid way to end the week. Fun times at the Running Boys/Wives Christmas party this evening. |

| | 10.25 miles with the Circle this morning. Weather was cold and windy. It got me prepped for running in Bear Lake all next week. Good times and conversation. I am glad Dave is not mad at me anymore. 6 miles this afternoon. 3 miles with the team up in the snow behind the school and then another 3 miles to Hidden Valley. Hands were freezing. |

| | 6 miles total this afternoon. I did a 3 mile warm up out along the Arizona Strip and then did a 3 mile tempo run back to the high school. Felt pretty decent during the tempo section. I need to get this type of run in at least once a week. |

Met up with Clyde this morning at Vernon Worthen. Dave slept in. We did the same loop as last week but a touch faster. Fairly cold this morning. Solid way to end the week. Needed to get 70 miles in this week. I will be up in Logan and Bear Lake next week so I will be cold on my runs. Should be interesting.

| | Ran from my in-laws house in Logan this morning out to Smithfield and back. Did kind of a loop. Nice fresh snow to run on this morning. The temps were actually quite nice. It was a little different being back on snow since it has been forever. One snow run down this week. It should be interesting running in Bear Lake. I know the temps will be much colder.

| | Finally made it to Bear Lake yesterday. Lots of fun this morning for Christmas. Everyone was sleeping so I drove down from the cabin and then ran north towards Montpelier right along Bear Lake Blvd. which is right next to the lake. Sunny but still cold. Survived the first run up here. |

12 miles towards Montpelier. I made it to the town of Fish Haven. Fun little town and lots of cool cabins and houses. It would be fun to live up here but not in the winter. 6000 feet of elevation for the runs in Bear Lake this week. I saw a ton of deer and wild turkeys this week. Lots of fun.

Drove back down to Logan this morning to head back to the in-laws. Ran in Logan today. Lots of sun but it was the coldest temperature wise all week. It was a balmy 12 degrees. The moustache froze over today. I might try and get a picture up. I ran up towards Smithfield and back. Deer count = saw 12 total this week Wild Turkey Count = saw 6 total for the week Decent week running in the frozen tundra. Really pretty with all of the white snow but extremely cold. Need to get back to St. George quick.

| | Took care of sick people all day. Finished off the year with a big fat 0 miles. Looking back on the year I am happy to have been able to run still while in graduate school. Life has been extra busy in 2012 with the addition of a new baby, new responsibilities, and everything else that goes on in life. Got 2 solid 50 mile races in this summer and happy with the results. Looking forward to being done with graduate school in May and then back to training.
