| | This is Character Week with the TEAM and captains are in charge. Always hard to be away from the TEAM but it is what we have to do.
I drove up to Cedar this morning and ran with one of the all-time greats, Sage Ducote. He took me up on Cedar Mountain and we ran the Kolob Terrace Road. It was 9,000+ feet and had lots of big, rolling hills. The scenery, temps, and all the deer made it worthwhile. We ended up running 12 miles total at 7:09/mile. I definitely felt the elevation but it was still amazing. Lots of fun running with Sage this morning and catching up. He is a great young man and I thoroughly enjoyed coaching him.
3 miles this afternoon.

4.5 miles total this morning.
Planned on doing more this afternoon and evening but a big summer rainfall brought lots of opportunity to clean up mud around the house and neighborhood.

| | Was planning on running with Dave this morning but he wasn't feeling good. I drove up to run part of the Red Mountain Trail and do a little exploring. I ran up almost 2 miles and decided it was a little too rocky for me. I came back and headed towards Veyo Hill. I ended up running on the fire road towards Sand Cove Reservoir and just enjoyed the run. Might need to come up and run with the TEAM here. 14.5 miles total this morning. Still extremely humid.
Temps finally cooled down a little and it wasn't very muggy tonight so I went out 3.5 miles through Bloomington to get my 70 miles for the week.
This humidity has drained me the last couple weeks.
