| | Slept in and spent the morning having fun with the kids. Went out later in the day. 14 adventurous miles off Navajo Dr. Cloud cover and a little breeze helped out a lot. Got to the top of the mountain at eight miles and the black clouds showed up. Knew I was chancing it but needed to hurry back to the car for the last six miles. It started to rain, hail, and get pretty interesting. Lots of thunder over my head for the last 5-6 miles. Needless to say, I went anaerobic for the last few miles just to be safe.
Made it back to the car in one piece. Great way to clear the mind and start the week.
