8 miles in the morning.

15.50 miles in the afternoon and early evening.

I was not feeling up to going outside so I hopped on the treadmill and did 8 easy miles at 6:18/mile pace overall.  I'm sure I will have a big workout tonight with Paul Pilkington up at Weber State.

I ran an easy 5.5 miles with the track team this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it.  The sun was hot and I actually had to many layers of clothes on.  I think this is the first time I have said that this year.  I then went up to Weber for the big workout.  I started with a 3 mile warm-up and then did 4x 1600m right at 5:00/mile pace.  I hit 4:57, 4:58, 4:58, and 5:01 for the miles and then did 4x 400m at :67, :68, :68, and :68 for the four of them.  I finished up with a 2 mile cooldown.  I was happy with the workout.  I thought it was going to be much longer but the body felt fine afterwards.  Just a little fatigued.

Logan... we should get a parkway run in sometime soon. Let me know your schedule.

I just read your Saturday run experience, great story! Been there done that kind of stuff! At least you got some good fartlek out of it, eh. I am glad to see you pick that torch up and keep those eventful runs alive now that I have headed south. I keep telling people that it is the where not the who that has the animal encounters.

Call me about Saturday when you find out what is going on, hopefully we'll see you then.
