8 miles in the morning.

12.70 miles in the afternoon.

I did the same route as last night where I basically ran around the neighborhood along the mountain.  It was a little windy so it made things extra cold this morning.  I didn't worry to much about pace because the legs were stiff as a board due to the cold weather.  I seem to be complaining about the cold weather a lot lately.  I need to try and be more positive.  I am supposed to do a 5 mile tempo run but the snow is really coming down out there.  I will have to wait and see if I will do it or not.

I ran with the distance kids today for just over 5 miles at an easy pace.  I came back to the school and did an ab workout with them.  It felt good.  I then went outside and it was snowing little pellets all over the place.  The weird thing was their was sun on the horizon.  The wind was blowing which always makes me nervous when I set out to do a big workout.  I decided to do my 5 mile tempo run anyway.  My miles were: 5:29, 5:27, 5:24, 5:29, and 5:29.  This averaged out to 5:27/mile.  I planned on hitting under 5:20 for the tempo run but with it being cold and windy I guess it wasn't meant to happen today.  I will take this workout and call it a day.  I finished with a .70 cooldown and hurried home to get some food in me.

Logan, your miles are looking Awesome! The pace you run while training is mind boggling to me. How do you stay healthy? What a complete Beast you are!!
