6 miles in the morning.

11 miles in the afternoon.

A great run this morning to get the week started off on the right foot.  It was blue skies and not that cold.  Alright!

It was really hot this afternoon.  Almost 80 degrees!  I got up to Weber State and did a 2 mile warm-up and then did 4x1600m at 5:00/mile.  I hit 4:59, 4:58, 4:57, and 4:57 for the miles.  I then went with two guys that are also training with Paul to run 5 miles on the Ogden River Parkway.  It was perfect running conditions today and was happy to once again start out the week on a good note.

I heard through the grapevine that you are considering running the Twin Cities marathon this year. I am thinking of running it as well in the "Masters Championships". I have the comp and am awaiting to see if they will give me travel assistance as well, which would help me determine if I am going to try for this one or for the masters win at STG.

Keep up the strong running and see you at the Ogden marathon. Is there going to be bloggers party at Ogden that you know of?

Jeff,

I talked with the race director at Twin Cities and he gave me elite status (comp entry, travel assistance, and 2 night stay at hotel). I have never had something like this happen before so I think I am going to do this. I haven't told to many people because this is all fairly recent news. It would be fun to go out with you to run that marathon. Also, we might throw a blogger's party at my house for Ogden. We are in the process of moving so I have to finalize it with my wife. I should know within the next couple days.

Sorry to be looking in. But that is awesome Logan. What a great hook up. You deserve it though and you'll show them that as well.
